SBI PO Prelims & Mains Syllabus:
The SBI PO 2017 exam is a 3 phase elimination process, the one who clears all the phases will be eligible for the job. There are 2313 Probationary Officer posts vacant for the year 2017 in SBI.
Phase I- Preliminary Exam
This phase will be conducted in online mode, it will be for 100 marks and the exam duration is 1 hour. The candidates are questioned on English language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability. Candidates who have achieved minimum qualifying marks from each subject and also overall cut-off marks are eligible for the next phase i.e mains.

Phase II- Main Exam
In this phase you have to appear for an objective test of 200 marks followed by a descriptive test of 50 marks. The duration for the objective will be 3 hours and the duration for descriptive will half n hour. The candidates who ever clears this phase will be sent to 3rd phase i.e group discussion.
Phase III- Group Discussion
In this phase the candidates tested for their confidence in the crowd and their communication skills, knowledge on various banking sectors.
