JEE Main 2019 Exam to be conducted by NTA – Check Details Here

JEE Main 2019: As per the latest announcement made by HRD ministry, Instead of CBSE, National Testing Agency (NTA) will be responsible to conduct the JEE Main 2019 exam. The newly assigned official body NTA has made some changes in the process of JEE Main exam which is going to be implemented in the coming test session. The changes introduced are mentioned below. JEE Main Application form 2019 for January exam is available in online mode from 1st September 2018. The last date to fill the form is 30th September 2018. JEE Main 2019 announced event dates are now also available. Please check the dates below.

 

Changes introduced in JEE Main 2019 by NTA

  • JEE Main 2019 will be held in online mode. Earlier, it was used to conduct in offline (pen-paper test) mode.

 

  • Now the exam will be held in two different sessions in multiple shifts. One in January 2019 and the other one in April 2019. You can appear for both the exams or anyone. Your best score out of the two exams will be considered.

 

  • NTA will arrange 2697 practice centers free of cost for the ease of JEE Main 2019 aspirants.

Aspirants of JEE Main 2019 are hereby informed that they must check the eligibility criteria at the time of application form filling. If they possess the eligibility criteria, then they are eligible to register for JEE Main 2019. The candidates who have passed class 12 examination in 2017, 2018 or appearing in 2019 irrespective of their age can appear in JEE Main exam 2019.

If the candidate fulfills all the criteria, then they appear for the JEE Main 2019 exam (January 2019 session). To take the JEE Main 2019 exam, candidates need to register in between 1st to 30th Sep 2018 in online mode. All the details must be entered in correct form since it will be cross-checked at the time of document verification. If any details found incorrect, then the candidate can be disqualified from the admission process.

Candidates must download and carry they admit card on the day of the test. The subject combination for online mode of JEE Main paper 1 is Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and the total number of questions is 90. For paper 2, the subject combination is Mathematics, Aptitude, and drawing and the total number of questions is 82. After the end of the exam, candidates can check the answer key to estimate their score. Result for JEE Main 2019 January session is scheduled to release on 31st January 2019.

All the JEE Main 2019 test takers need to obtain the minimum qualifying cut-off marks to become eligible for participating in the counseling process. JEE Main 2019 qualified candidates need to register to participate in the counseling process.
