Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET 2017) is a university-level examination that is organized by the Symbiosis International University. The examination is conducted on 6th May 2017 for admissions to all the UG courses of Symbiosis University and its branches. The candidates interested to shape their career in the field of Engineering and Health Sciences are advised to apply for this Examination.However, the entrance examination is not mandatory for Engineering and Health Sciences courses. SET 2017 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Every year the eligibility criteria for Symbiosis University Test changes. As per the official notification of the current year, the eligibility criteria is given below.

B.Tech	Passed 10+2 examination and obtained at least 45% marks (40% reserved category) (On basis of JEE Score)
BCA	Pass 12^th standard examination or equivalent/ Diploma in Engineering/Technology with minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates)
BA./BBA.LLB	Pass/Appearing (10+2) examination with minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates)
BBA	Passed XII or equivalent examination with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST).
B.Sc	XII Pass or equivalent
B.Des	Passed 10+2 or equivalent OR 10+3 diploma

SET 2017 EXAM PATTERN:

The entrance exam has various papers: General, Design, Law, Engineering and Health Sciences. Candidate may choose to apply for one paper in each session.The examination is conducted in offline mode and consists of objective type questions. The time duration of the examination is 150 mins. The test will only consist of Objective type questions without negative marking scheme. The paper of Law and Design will be conducted in the morning session and paper of General, Engineering and Health Sciences will be held in the evening session. The timings of the two sessions are Morning Session (9:30 am to 12:00 noon) and Afternoon Session (2:30 pm to 5:00 pm).

SET 2017 APPLICATION FORM:

The Symbiosis Entrance Test Application Form is available from 26th December 2016. Interested candidates can fill the application form through online mode from the official web portal.It is mandatory to complete registration by filling the online application form, selecting the interested course and institute before the closing date of application.

APPLICATION FEE:

The Application Fee is Rs.1500. While paying Symbiosis SET application fee online, candidates can select the desired institute and also pay the admission fee per programme. The admission fee is Rs. 1000 per program. The fee is non-refundable. Candidates can pay the fee through online or offline mode. The candidates who want to pay the fee through Demand Draft in favor of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” and to the given address below.

SET 2017 ADMIT CARD:

Symbiosis SET 2017 Admit Card will be available from the 22nd April 2017. Candidates can download the admit card from this website(after official release). Candidates can download the admit card till the date of entrance exam. Admit card is neceseary in the admission procedure of the desired institutions. Candidates have to bring the admit card along with the photo identity proof to the exam center.

SET 2017 RESULT:

Symbiosis SET 2017 results may be declared on 19th May 2017. Candidates can check out the examination results this website after the official release. Based upon the score secured in the examination, candidates will be eligible for different Symbiosis Institutes. SET Scorecard will be provided on the website after the one month of the result declaration.
