About CTET, Central Teacher Eligibility Test is the gateway for the candidates who have the desire to join in Central Government Schools as a teacher. It is organised by Central Board of Secondary Education.
Eligibility Criteria for CTET 2017:
Educational qualification required for classes I – V:
- Candidate should complete his Senior Secondary Education or its equivalent exam with minimum 50% marks
- Candidates with diploma in Elementary Education or appearing in final year are eligible.
- Graduate in Bachelor of Elementary Education or appearing in final year are eligible.
- Candidates with Diploma in Education or appearing in final year are eligible.
- According to NCTE Regulations 2002 Or., candidates securing 45% in their Senior Secondary and cleared or appearing final year of Diploma in Elementary Education are eligible

- Candidate should complete his Senior Secondary Education or its equivalent exam with minimum 50% marks
- Candidates with diploma in Elementary Education or appearing in final year are eligible.
- Graduate in Bachelor in Education or appearing in final year are eligible.
- Graduate in Bachelor of Elementary Education or appearing in final year are eligible.
- Candidates cleared or appearing in B.Ed one year program are eligible
- Candidates cleared or appearing in A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed or B.A/B.Sc.Ed one year program are eligible
- According to NCTE Regulations 2002 Or., candidates securing 45% in their Senior Secondary and cleared or appearing final year of Diploma in Elementary Education are eligible
