IIFT (Indian Institute of Foreign Trade) is an entrance exam to do MBA in one of the top b-schools in India IIFT Delhi & Kolkata. Every year IIFT held in the month of November last week. Last year it was held on Nov 22nd, 2015. This year IIFT going to held 1 week prior to CAT like the last year i.e., Nov 27th, 2016 (Sunday). IIFT examination was pen & paper based model test. IIFT registration window opened on July 15th and registration will remain opened for 50 Days.

IIFT released the examination notification last month and aspirants can apply through online mode or offline mode. Experts say that online mode is much more feasible and can be done within fifteen minutes. If one opts offline mode they need to send the physical form of the documents to the post. How to apply IIFT Exam 2016:
Online Mode:
Online registration for the application of IIFT started from July 15, 2016. Applications can pay through any mode of an online transaction from net banking, debit/credit card.

Offline Mode:
Applicant has to finish all the prospectus and form should be sent through post along with the Demand Draft 1550 or by cash/demand draft in person from the IIFT counter. It should reach IIFT Delhi on or before 5th September 2016 with no responsibility of IIFT in case the application form reaches IIFT late or is lost in transit.
Registration fee:
For General/OBC candidates: Rs.1550/-
For SC/ST/PH candidates : Rs. 775
For Foreign National/NRI/ : US$ 80 (INR4500)
No of Seats:
Seats are reserved as per Government of India rules. The reservations are subject to candidates meeting the admission requirement of the Institute under different categories.
IIFT proposes to offer admission to 360 students to its flagship MBA (IB) 2017-19 programme at Delhi (220 seats) and Kolkata(140 seats) campuses.
Eligibility Criteria:
Selection will be on the basis of Written Test, Group Discussion, Essay Writing and Interview. Written Test will be held on SUNDAY 27th November 2016 during 10.00AM – 12.00Noon at Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhubeneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Dehradun, Delhi, Guwahati, Hydrabad, Indore, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur and Visakhapatnam. Based on the marks of Written Test, a limited number of candidates will be invited for second phase of selection process comprising Group Discussion, Essay Writing and Interview to be held at Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow and Mumbai.
